The Loch Ness Monster
Plesiosauria

The Loch Ness Monster is a mystery to the whole world. A lot of people says they had seen it before, but we can't prove it. A lot of people spend their whole life searching it, they want to solve the mystery, but most of them failed. The Loch Ness Monster is also known as The Nessie. It's found in The Loch Ness, in Scotland. It looks like Plesiosauria, it's a kind of dinosaur who lived in the ocean a long time ago. Some people took photos of The Nessie, but after scientist disgusted, the photos are just other things. The scientist listed a list of things that look similar to The Nessie.

Eel When eels want to catch the creatures on the surface of the water, their tail and abdomen will be exposed to the water surface. They were mistakenly seen by other people at the back of the Nessie. Otter When the otters dived under the water, their tails were bent and exposed to the water. From a distance, they were mistaken for the "nose of the Nessie". Trees or woods The inside of the driftwood is filled with water, it makes the load heavy. It's like the back of The Nessie exposed from the water surface. Optical effects Because of the refraction of light, it forms a shadow that looks like the Nessie. Mischief or prank Tourism industry near Loch Ness want to increase the number of visitors, they made up that there is a monster in Loch Ness. The real case about pranking visitors was Christian Sforlin, admitting they had taken pictures of the Loch Ness Monster were just toys. Other large animal species from other countries Pets like the crocodile and the snakes were abandoned to The Loch Ness and mistakenly thought they are monsters. However, these animals are cold-blooded animals that need to stay in the sun to maintain their body temperature. Loch’s water is cold and they do not climb up to dry. Where the sun is, crocodiles or snakes are hard to live here. Elephants When elephants swim, you will only see their nose on the water because they need to breathe, so some people thought it was a monster.

The earliest record of the Loch Ness monster was in Adomnán's Life of St. Columba in the 7th century AD. According to Adelman's description after the first century of the incident, Irish monk St. Coulomb and his companions were in the Pictish region at the time. He met local residents to bury a man on the banks of the River Ness. Residents explained that when the man was swimming in the river, he was dragged down by the monster and got injured. When they rushed to rescue him, he passed away. San Lunlun sent a man to swim across the river. When the monster suddenly approached, St. Coulomb made a cross sign and shouted at the monster: "Don't advance, don't hurt anyone. Go away as soon as possible." The monster suddenly stopped and returned to the water. St. Coulombs and Picketts considered it a miracle. They were very grateful to St. Coulomb.

There are some films about The Loch Ness Monster. "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep" is one of the films that are about the Nessie. It' was filmed in 2007 in the US. Many people said it's a good movie, I've never watched it but I think it will be a great movie.

I think The Nessie is true because a lot of people said they have seen it before, even though the scientists said it's just some other creature, I still think it's true. Just like dragons, some people believed it, and they had taken pictures of dragons. Maybe it's not true, but some people just want to believe it and think it will bring good luck.
