Pocky is a Japanese snack food produced by Ezaki Glico. Pocky was first sold in 1966 and consists of chocolate-coated biscuit sticks. It was named after the Japanese onomatopoetic word "pokkin".
The original was followed by almond coatings in 1971, and strawberry coatings in 1977. Today, the product line includes variations as milk, mousse, green tea, etc, and themed products such as "Decor Pocky", with colorful decorative stripes in the coating, and "Men's Pocky", a dark (bittersweet) chocolate and "mature" version. Pocky is a very popular treat in Japan, especially among teenagers in bars, it is sometimes served with a glass of ice water or milk.
Pocky also has some of the more unusual flavors including the seasonal flavors of honey (spring) and kiwifruit mango (summer). Regional flavors of Pocky include grape, yūbari melon, giant mikan (tangerine), powdered tea azuki bean, etc. Also, flavors such as banana, lychee, coffee, caramel, marble royal milk tea, melon, etc. are available. The latest flavors are special editions, 2 two-tone flavors in a larger box than chocolate or strawberry Pocky provides. The 2 newest flavors are cookies and cream and banana chocolate. Both have brown biscuit sticks. The cookies and cream consist of blended chocolate biscuit cookies with a slight chocolaty flavor of the biscuit.

Pocky is very sweet and it tastes good. I like chocolate because it's very sweet and you won't feel uncomfortable after eating it.

Pepero is a cookie stick, dipped in compound chocolate, manufactured by Lotte Confectionery in South Korea since 1983. The flavors are, Chocolate (Original), Strawberry, Almond (coated with chocolate), Nude (chocolate in the center with a biscuit coating on the outside; the other way around from an original chocolate Pepero), White Chocolate Cookie, Black Chocolate Cookie, Tiramisu Cheese, Melon, Peanut, Double "Dip" White Chocolate (Two coatings instead of one), Double "Dip" Black Chocolate, Blueberry Yogurt, Lotte also released a new version of Pepero, Pepero skinny, which is thinner and is "more crispy."
Pepero is not very sweet, it's in the middle of Pocky and City No.1. I think the cookie is a little bit salty when I taste it.

City No.1 is a chocolate biscuit stick from Taiwan. It's made in 1993. It's cheaper and thinner than Pepero and Pocky. Sometimes, cheaper things taste better, but City No.1 does not taste better. Actually, it tastes kind of gross, the chocolate is weird and the cookie tasted bad. I don't really like it, I would choose Pocky or Pepero.

So, I think Pepero tasted the best. Because as I said, it's not very sweet and the cookie is a little bit salty. Maybe the company wants the customers to taste the sense of multi-level. They don't want us to feel uncomfortable with the chocolate, because some chocolate will make you feel uncomfortable from its sweetness.
If I can recommend one of these three, I will recommend Pepero. Pocky is too sweet for me. City No.1 tasted gross and I don't even want to eat it again.
